Read books relating to leadership philosophies and leadership styles.  Wrote initial draft of leadership philosophy.

Viewed Gandhi and Dead Poets’ society

Posted leadership philosophy to webcrossing, completed book reviews and reported on Webcrossing.

 

 

Have knowledge and understanding of systems theory (ISLLC 1 and NCATE 4)

Viewed video Organizational Learning and Beyond from Russel Ackoff, reported in learning teams on traditional management styles, read article Retooling Leadership in the Third Millennium

Reported our research findings to our class, posted reflections to Webcrossing, and submitted articles to our class website

Have knowledge and understanding of leadership styles. (NCATE 2 and 3)

Viewed video Organizational Learning and Beyond, researched circular organizations, total quality management, laissez faire management, Viewed and Critiqued Elizabeth, Bridge Over the River Kwai, and Gandhi

Posted articles to class web site, compared and contrasted leadership styles from the movies and posted to Webcrossing.

Ackoff video, learning team research on consensus building,

Practiced reaching consensus in class, created our class web site for research purposes.  Diversity was used in class to meet the learning needs of all students.Positive culture for learning was created in the class.
